2. Our Services
2.1 SendFund offers international money transfer, remittance and currency exchange services. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
2.2 Every Transaction is assigned an individual transaction reference number for traceability and audit.
2.3 All customers are subject to a per-transfer limit of CHF/EUR/USD/GBP 3,000 without additional source-of-funds documentation. Customers needing to send more in a single transfer may request a higher limit, subject to review. Customers wishing to send more will be required to provide additional documentation (for example: bank statements, utility bills, employment contract, recent salary slip, or documentary evidence of the source of funds such as an inheritance or insurance payment certificate).
2.4 By completing the information required for a money transfer and accepting these T&C, the Customer instructs SendFund to execute that specific transfer. Each Transaction constitutes a separate agreement between SendFund and the Customer, limited to the execution of the specific Transaction identified by its reference number. No framework agreement is concluded that would oblige us to execute concurrent or subsequent transfers on your behalf.
2.5 Execution: We undertake to make the transferred funds available to the Receiver via bank account or mobile wallet at the latest 24 hours after the business day on which the funds were received in our bank account (“Day of Receipt”). Receipt takes effect when we receive the funds together with all associated fees and the transaction reference. If settlement funds are not received within 24 hours of initiating a transfer, the Transaction will be cancelled.
2.6 Sanctions and AML screening: Applicable anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing laws prohibit money transmitters from doing business with certain individuals and countries. SendFund screens all Transactions against sanctions and watch lists, including those of the UN, the European Union, the Swiss SECO, the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the UK HM Treasury, as well as PEP and criminal watch lists, in line with FATF standards. If a potential match is identified, we will review the Transaction to determine whether the matched name is the listed individual. For this purpose we may request additional information from the Customer or the Receiver, which may delay the Transaction. This is a legal requirement for all Transactions we process.
2.7 Fees: The fees for a Transaction are displayed on our Website or App once you have completed all required fields, before you confirm. The Customer bears all fees (including local taxes and service charges) shown in the transaction details. The Receiver may incur additional charges from their own institution for receiving funds into a bank account. The receiving institution may reject a transfer; you will be notified of the transaction status by phone, email or SMS.
2.8 Customer information: For every Transaction you must provide all details we require, in particular the Receiver's name, your relationship to the Receiver, the Receiver's bank account or wallet information and country, the transfer amount, the source of funds and the purpose of the transfer.
2.9 Incorrect information: Payments may be affected if the information you provide contains errors. In the event of inconsistencies (including in account details or the Receiver's name), the transfer will be blocked for a maximum of 5 working days while we ask you to provide the correct information. Where money laundering is suspected, such cases may be reported to ARIF, to the Money Laundering Reporting Office Switzerland (MROS) and to the competent Swiss authorities.
2.10 Currencies: Transfers are paid out only in the currency selected by the Customer during the Transaction. If an unsupported currency is displayed on our platform and a transfer is initiated in it, we will cancel the Transaction and inform you.
2.11 Exchange rates: We calculate exchange rates based on the best commercially available interbank rates provided by our payout partners. Rates may change several times a day in line with global financial markets. The applicable exchange rate and the exact amount the Receiver will receive in local currency are displayed to you before you confirm the Transaction.
2.12 SMS notifications: Where permitted by you and by local law, we may send SMS notifications to the mobile number you provided, including confirmation that funds have been paid to the Receiver. Additional third-party charges may apply and will be shown to you; you may opt in or out. We are not responsible for charges associated with receiving SMS messages, nor for forwarding failures or technical malfunctions occurring outside our own systems.
3. Our Responsibilities
We will provide a fast, secure and reliable money transfer service in accordance with these T&C and will exercise reasonable care. We are not obliged to accept any instruction to execute a Transaction, and we will not be liable for declining an instruction or for withdrawing, restricting or terminating our services. These T&C apply to any instruction we choose to accept.
Notwithstanding any prior agreement to initiate a transfer, we assume no liability for:
- goods or services you pay for using our services, and in particular their delivery;
- malfunctions in communication facilities beyond our control;
- loss of data or transmission delays caused by internet service providers, browsers or other software beyond our control;
- viruses originating from third parties;
- errors on our Website or App resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by you or a third party;
- unauthorised use or interception of information before it reaches our systems, or unauthorised access to your data, unless caused by our negligence.
We are under no obligation to initiate or execute a transfer if: (a) we are unable to obtain sufficient evidence of your identity; (b) we have reason to believe the Transaction information is incorrect, unauthorised or forged, or relates to fraud, money laundering or terrorist financing; (c) you have provided incorrect or incomplete information; or (d) we do not receive your Transaction information in time to guarantee timely execution. We assume no liability for damage caused by non-payment or late payment to a Receiver, or by a failure to execute a Transaction, for any of these reasons.
We may partially or fully suspend the operation of our Website or App where circumstances beyond our control require it (“Events Outside Our Control”). If the service is interrupted for any reason, we will take adequate measures to keep the interruption as short as possible and will inform customers. We may refuse to provide the service in whole or in part where its use would violate applicable law, a court order, or the requirements of a regulatory or governmental authority, or where we consider it necessary to protect our legitimate interests. Where permitted by law, we will notify you accordingly.
4. Your Responsibilities
4.1 You agree to pay our fees for every Transaction you initiate via our platform or at our office.
4.2 You agree to pay the transfer amount, including all fees, for each Transaction before we execute it. You will be informed in advance of the precise amount your Receiver will receive and may accept or decline.
4.3 You confirm and agree that:
- the information you provide for any Transaction is true, accurate, current and complete;
- you transfer money only to Receivers you personally know;
- you will not use the service for illegal purposes or for any Prohibited Purpose;
- you will not initiate Transactions that violate these T&C.
4.4 You acknowledge that we may disclose information about you and the services provided to you to regulatory or governmental authorities where we are legally obliged to do so, or where we believe such disclosure may assist in the prevention of fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or other crime.
5. Customer Service, Account and Security

5.1 Password and Security
- Before using the Website or App you will be asked to create a password and provide a valid email address and your name.
- You are personally responsible for keeping your password, username and related credentials safe. They must not be used by any other person. Never share your password with anybody and do not write it down.
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your password or username, or of any other security breach.
- In the event of loss, theft, misuse or unauthorised use of your credentials, or where you believe a Transaction was executed without your authorisation or was executed incorrectly, you must inform us immediately by phone. We will investigate without delay.
5.2 Unauthorised Use
Once you have informed us of unauthorised use of your credentials, we will immediately take the necessary steps to prevent further use of your account and will inform you of those steps and the reasons for them, unless prevented by law. Taking these steps does not make us liable for loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with your obligations under this section.
5.3 Data Protection
We use and process your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which is available on our Website and forms part of the information applicable to your use of the service. We reserve the right to verify the details you provide.
6. Liability
6.1 We have no liability if we fail to perform, or incorrectly perform, a Transaction where the reason was an Event Outside Our Control or compliance with our statutory obligations.
6.2 We assume no liability for damage due to unusual and unforeseeable events beyond our control whose consequences could not have been avoided despite the exercise of due care (for example: failure of telecommunication lines, civil unrest, epidemics or related public-health measures, war, industrial action or lockouts). The same applies where we are bound by national or international legislation, court orders or administrative orders.
6.3 We assume no liability for unauthorised or incorrectly executed transactions carried out by or between third parties whom you instructed before we received your payment. In such cases you should promptly contact the relevant third party.
6.4 Nothing in these T&C excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory Swiss law, including liability for unlawful intent or gross negligence.
7. Intellectual Property
The SendFund Website and App and all content contained in them — including copyrights, logos, database rights, patents, trademarks and service marks — are our property or the property of our licensors. No content may be reproduced or used without our prior written consent.
8. Right to Cancel a Transfer
8.1 You have the right to cancel a money transfer within 10 minutes of sending or approving the Transaction. The cancellation must be declared to us in writing by email to support@sendfund.app (or by phone followed by written confirmation) and must state your name and the reason for cancellation.
8.2 The right of cancellation does not apply if the funds have already been paid out to the Receiver before we receive your cancellation notice.
8.3 Where you validly cancel before payout, we will refund the transfer amount less an administration fee of CHF 10, which covers our processing and bank charges.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our services, please submit a complaint in writing to support@sendfund.app or via any contact channel published on our Website. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, investigate it and respond in writing.
